Fall 2024 - Spring 2025: EXODUS

This next year we will be taking a deep dive into the book of EXODUS!

Through an original Woven resource, we will look at this Old Testament book in two parts. We will cover Part 1 in the fall of 2024 starting after Labor Day. We will cover Part 2 in the spring of 2025 after the New Year.

Not able to make it for both the fall and spring? No worries. While we hope you can join for the entire year, this study is intentionally designed in two parts.

Why does Exodus still matter today? This book is all about God's redemption of His people. He rescues them from slavery, leads them through the wilderness, and gives them guidelines for how to live. He reveals Himself as holy and loving and merciful and fulfills His covenant promises to them. Exodus reminds us of God's great faithfulness throughout history, His patience with sinful people, and points forward to Jesus and our need for a Savior. The book reveals His character and is still relevant to our story today.

Woven is an interdenominational ministry centered around the word of God and the person of Jesus Christ. We seek to humbly approach the Bible and intentionally pursue meaningful relationships with one another.

Woven is an organization that exists to equip women to study the Word and cultivate meaningful relationships. We are a ministry geared toward all women everywhere. You do not have to attend any particular church or even go to church at all to participate.

Twice a year, we come together for outreach gatherings that involve creative crafting, good food, connecting with new and old friends, and hearing some women’s testimonies. These events are a wonderful opportunity to bring a friend, family member, or neighbor. This year, our Advent gatherings will take place at the Casino Hall on the evening of December 10th and the morning of the 11th. Pick which time works best for your schedule. It will be an opportunity to build relationships and set our hearts and minds on Christ.

Winter rEtreat - January 24-26, 2025

We can't wait to be back together for our 6th annual retreat at Summers Mill in Belton, Texas. Mark your calendars for the weekend of January 24-26, 2025. Last year's annual retreat was an amazing weekend of getting away to rest, fellowship, and grow together. About 100 women came together from La Grange and beyond. Invite a friend and carve out the weekend - you won't regret it!

One retreat attendee shared: “Every detail was so personal and appreciated. The welcome cheer team, the personal letters letting us know we’ve been prayed for, & welcome gifts made the weekend so extra special. The women at this retreat had contagious faith and created a safe and unbiased environment that allowed me to truly open my heart. This weekend changed my life.”

Summers Mill is an inviting, communal setting with hotel style accommodations near historic Salado, Texas. All bedding and towels are provided. Rooms have 2 queens and private, full bathrooms. During registration, you can designate preferred roommates (rooms will sleep between 2-4 people). All food, lodging, and programming is included in your registration. You will receive a detailed packing list 2 weeks before the retreat.

The early bird price is $249 until November 30th.

Regular registration is $275 until December 31st.

Late registration is $299 until January 15th.

Registration will close on January 15th. This link allows you to pay in full ($249), pay for your registration with a gift toward the scholarship fund ($275), or pay a deposit ($75) and then the remainder ($174) in installments. In an effort to make this as accessible as possible for all women, Woven subsidizes the cost of the retreat for everyone and offers need based scholarships. Scholarship requests can be applied for in the app starting November 1st.

*Due to limited space and to ensure a relaxing, restful experience for all attendees, the retreat is a child-free event. Thanks for understanding--we can't wait to share this special time with you!
